My dear Dr.Alok Gupta,

I have received your message today forwarded by my brother about sharing my experience and ability to control fear against fighting against the dreaded disease cancer under your care.

I,Bhrigu Nath Ojha, male patient aged 73 years had history of obstructive LUTS in form of poor flow straining intermittently,increased frequency at nights 3-4 times on and of urgency.

ON evaluation found to have enlarged prostate of PSA total 109.0 and free 10.0. I was admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital on 01.11.2016. and discharged on 05.11.2016 after Prostate operation.

During hospital stay TURP of prostate done in standard manner on 03.11.2016. I was suspected a case Carcinoma prostate Post TURP (03.11.2016) and on further evaluation Timor occupying 50% of prostate tissue. Finally Metastatic prostate cancer stage-4 was revealed.

Subsequently I approached Dr.Alok Gupta specialist and consultant Medical Oncology and Haemat Oncology at Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket New Delhi.Dr. Gupta very patiently listened to the entire episode. A ten cycle 50mg/metre square Chemotherapy was planned with effect from 16.11.2016 And also injectionPamroline for Androgen Deprivation Therapy of 11.25 mg.q3 monthly interval planned. I tolerated well to the abo've treatment during and after each cycle of chemo.Considering high volume of disease a very good mdedication was prescribed by Dr.Gupta to prevent side effects like vomiting tendency lndigestion loose motion etc. The Dr. responded with personal touch tome and my both sons who visited me frequently and were with me as attendant. They were very much impressed with the care and advice given to us.

The medical care and facility organised contributed a boost in treating me to support and fight the disease. During Chemo I was not having appetite resulting in weakness intermittent cough and fever. We are grateful to Dr.Gupta and his team who spared their personal time and develop personal relationship.
